After ten years in the same place, it should be interesting to see how things work out in a different city.

For the nth year, I ended up as one of the suckers on the program committee. It’s always interesting to see the complete set of talks that get proposed. It’s also a bit of a bummer when ones you really wanted to see didn’t make the cut (and sometimes when ones you hated the proposal of do make the cut).
